3. Working Principle
The vertical edging mill is equipped with a pair of vertically arranged driving rolls. During the hot rolling process, after the steel billet is rolled by the horizontal universal mill, it enters the vertical mill roll gap. The vertical rolls apply uniform horizontal pressure on both sides of the profile to trim and shape the steel flange.
It accurately controls the final width size of the profile, removes edge burrs and uneven metal excess generated in rough rolling, and corrects the left-right deviation of the steel during transmission. Cooperating with the universal mill, it realizes integrated forming of thickness and width, ensuring high-precision and high-quality finished section steel.
