Integrated with edge-AI sensors and digital twin simulation, the system enables predictive roll wear compensation and dynamic thermal profile adjustment. Deployed at Baosteel’s Zhanjiang plant, it marks the first commercial rollout of closed-loop AI control in Chinese hot rolling—setting a new benchmark for precision, sustainability, and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) in轧钢 equipment.
